PRE-REQUISITES: LEVEL 1 INTRODUCTION
LEVEL 2: Training for True Freedom in Performance with mVm
ON-GOING class
January 2026
LEVEL 2: ON-GOING — 4-week (12 hours) MONTHLY TRAINING GYM
Foundations:
In this on-going mVm class we’ll be deepening the work students began in the introductory course. Freeing the breath, sound, and body is paramount to a free performance. The first part of each weekly class will be reserved for ‘working out’ mVm style so actors can actually train presence.
Text Transfusion:
While Active Breath is the backbone of mVm, Text Transfusion is an application that continuously blows my mind... TT is how in the mVm process, we breakdown language/impulses to be used in our scenes-->It’s our "memorization" technique. Students will have been introduced to this technique and continue to hone it here.
STUDENT-LED
Integration:
The second half of every ongoing class will be focused on monologue work, and auditions! Each student will bring in what they would like to work on whether it’s a current audition, or some text work they’re looking to deepen. Everyone brings something in, and everyone works!

What students are saying:
“The most valuable part of the class was witnessing myself and others embrace our instruments. To let go of fear, control, and performance and to embrace experimentation and presence. We are all so stuck in our ways and we can get unstuck.”
-Nate K
“This class will remind you of the gift of being in your body, how conscious you can be of it and how it shapes your presence in the world. It’ll put you in touch with your instincts and show you how your breathing affects all aspects of your life. This is not only for actors, I believe. If you’re into becoming more of yourself, you’d be silly not to take it.”
-Liz B
“A teacher who is themselves and alive will give you the space to be yourself and alive.”
-Kostas C
